Newborn Care Specialist Training provides young learners or aspiring caregivers with the specialized knowledge and hands-on skills needed to care for newborns during the first crucial months of life. This course teaches participants how to safely handle, feed, diaper, swaddle, and soothe newborns, while also covering important topics like sleep routines, hygiene, and recognizing signs of distress or illness.
In addition to caregiving techniques, students will build leadership and communication skills, learn how to maintain a safe and healthy environment, and understand the emotional needs of both babies and families. The course also introduces students to the basics of starting a newborn care service, including professionalism, trust-building, and working with new parents.
Upon completion, participants receive certification from the American Red Cross, helping them stand out as responsible and knowledgeable future caregivers.
